The Collie Association’s annual programme of events include:

 

Annual General Meeting — currently held at Baginton Village Hall, Baginton, Near Coventry, Warwickshire, CV8  3AA.

Followed at 12 noon by the Spring Open Show held outside with its Garden Party atmosphere.

 

Supported Summer Open Show currently held in conjunction with the Poole Canine Society and staged at The Sports and
Recreation Centre, Ferndown, Dorset. BH22 9EZ. The Collie Association offers many trophies and specials for members who live in the original Collie Association South West Section’s area.

 

Benched Championship Show for Rough Collies — currently held in the Indoor Cricket Hall, Sports Connexion, Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry, CV8  3FL — bringing the show year to an end with a festive atmosphere, enhanced by the now annual ‘Members Roll of Honour’ tribute to the current year’s Top Winning Rough Collies including all CC & RCC winners owned
by a Member.

 

Seminars are arranged on a bi-annual basis with subjects covering The Breed Standard, Judging & Stewarding Procedures

The Collie Association present several Annual Points Trophies and Specials to members, with points earned by wins at any of the Association’s shows, including its Supported Show. The Collie Association’s web-site, launched in September 2006, attracts an increasing number of visitors, while feed-back has been encouraging.

With something of interest to all levels of Collie enthusiast, whether first time owner look-ing for advice about rearing their new Collie puppy, novice exhibitor trying to negotiate the intricacies of the UK show scene, dedicated exhibitor wishing to plan future cam-paigns, or experienced breeder searching for the latest information on current health issues.
